Part-Time Head of Finance

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the finance and accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency and process optimization. This includes preparing the company for potential VC funding, managing cap tables, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves providing strategic financial insights, managing budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and financial reporting processes, and collaborating with the leadership team on financial strategy and performance tracking. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be currently serving as a CFO or Controller in a $20-100M software business, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in finance and accounting. Expertise in financial systems such as QuickBooks, Carta, Rippling, and Ramp.The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing financial operations with minimal headcount and working effectively in a fully remote environment.
