Job alerts and preferences

We store your email address, signup source, selected role interests and subscription settings to send relevant job alerts. You can change your interests, pause emails or unsubscribe through links in your emails. We also record delivery failures and complaints to stop sending to addresses that should not receive further mail.

Email and website activity

Links in a digest identify the email issue and recipient send. When you follow one, a first-party cookie associates listing visits and Apply clicks with that email for up to 30 days. This helps us measure which opportunities are useful. Forwarded links can share the original email’s attribution. We do not treat an email open or an Apply click as proof of an application.

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for website usage. Email addresses and private preference links are not intentionally sent to these analytics services. Browser controls and blockers may limit measurement.

When growth measurement is enabled, first-party cookies identify a browser for up to 90 days and a visit for 30 minutes. We record campaign labels, broad referral sources, engaged visits and Apply clicks, and associate a new signup with its measured visit to understand whether subscribers return within 7 or 28 days. We do not store full referrer URLs in this measurement or send subscriber identifiers to Vercel. Clearing cookies breaks this browser association.

Optional application updates

You can tell us whether you applied, interviewed, received an offer or were hired. This feedback is optional, can be updated, and is labeled self-reported. We do not receive completed application data automatically from external employers or job boards.

Service providers and storage

Supabase stores site records, Vercel hosts the site, and Resend delivers email. Payment providers process employer purchases where enabled. These services process information to provide their services. We do not sell subscriber email addresses. Subscription and activity records are kept while needed to operate alerts, resolve delivery issues and assess service usefulness; you can request deletion.

Your choices

Use Manage preferences in an email to change or pause alerts. Unsubscribe links stop future digests. You may clear the site’s cookies to remove browser attribution. For access, corrections, deletion or privacy questions, email jared@hireafractionalexec.com.
