HireAFractionalExec is the job board built exclusively for fractional and part-time executive roles. No talent marketplace taking a cut. No recruiter charging a commission. A clean, fast job board that connects founders directly with fractional COOs, CMOs, CFOs, CTOs, CROs, Chiefs of Staff, and Heads of Ops.

Why this exists

The fractional executive market grew 46% year-over-year into 2026, and 72% of CEOs plan to increase their use of fractional executives in the next 12 months. The fractional workforce itself doubled from 60,000 to 120,000 professionals between 2022 and 2024. But hiring one — or finding the right engagement as one — is still harder than it should be.

Founders post on LinkedIn and hope a fractional sees it. Recruiters charge 20–30% commissions for introductions. Talent marketplaces take a cut of every billable hour. Fractional operators waste evenings hunting through 1,000 full-time C-suite listings to find the 10 fractional ones buried inside.

What we believe

About the data

Job listings come from two sources: paid employer-direct posts submitted through our checkout, and an automated ingest from Google for Jobs (via JSearch) filtered to fractional and part-time C-suite roles. Every listing is reviewed by a human before it goes live. Listings older than 30 days are unpublished automatically. Salary ranges shown across the site come from active 2026 listings and public market data (Adzuna salary feed, plus our own market research). Sources are cited on the salary calculator and category pages where used.

Why I built this

I'm Jared Perry, a practicing fractional COO and Chief of Staff. I built HireAFractionalExec in 2026 because I was tired of hunting for my own next engagement across LinkedIn, Indeed, Twitter, Slack groups, newsletters, and DMs from people who half-remembered a role they'd seen somewhere. The roles existed. They were just scattered across a dozen places and buried under thousands of full-time C-suite listings I had to scroll past to find them.

Every fractional operator I've talked to since has the same problem: you're delivering for current clients while simultaneously hunting for the next one, because fractional means you've always got a client rolling off in 30, 60, or 90 days. That low-grade hunting overhead is the tax of fractional life — and for people who got into fractional work specifically to do the work, not run a personal BD pipeline, it's exhausting.

So I built the site I needed: every fractional COO, CMO, CFO, CTO, CRO, Chief of Staff, and Head of Ops role in one place. Direct links to the employer. No application-to-us, no gatekeeper, no recruiter commission. Free for operators because the value is the aggregation, not the access.
