  • ·Is available Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, plus 1 Thursday afternoon per month for faculty meetings

  • ·And is also available Mondays and Tuesdays for the Afternoon Shift (1:30 PM to 6:00 PM) or the Evening Shift (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM)

  • ·Qualifications
  • ·\n
  • ·\n
  • ·Bachelor’s degree required (BA or BS)
  • ·\n
  • ·Minimum 2 years of recent experience teaching English to adult learners
  • ·\n
  • ·Experience working in multicultural learning environments preferred
  • ·\n
  • ·Comfort using learning management systems (LMS) and classroom technology
  • ·\n
  • ·Key Responsibilities
  • ·\n
  • ·As an ESL Instructor, you will:
  • ·\n
  • ·Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered lesson plans designed for adult learners
  • ·\n
  • ·Facilitate interactive classroom activities that promote real-world communication skills
  • ·\n
  • ·Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to support improvement
  • ·\n
  • ·Use educational technology and LMS tools to enhance learning and organization
  • ·\n
  • ·Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and strengthen curriculum delivery
  • ·\n
  • ·Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that supports student success
  • ·\n

\n Position Details: \n Job Type: Part-Time \n Meetings: 1 Thursday afternoon per month \n Pay: From $23.00 per hour \n Work Location: In-person (Downtown Los Angeles, CA) \n Benefits: Professional development assistance \n Morning Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–1:00 PM \n + Afternoon Shift Schedule: Monday–Tuesday, 1:30 PM–6:00 PM \n or Evening Shift Schedule: Monday–Tuesday, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM \n
