About the role
- ·We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PART-TIME Barista/FOH Team Member to join our vibrant team in Long Island City!
- ·Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 4pm-8:45pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:45am - 8:45pm
- ·Pay: $19-20/Hour
- ·Duties
- ·Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus
- ·Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- ·Prepare food items as needed while adhering to food safety standards
- ·Handle cash transactions and operate the Aloha POS system for order processing
- ·Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- ·Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- ·Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- ·Assist in training new team members as required
- ·Skills
- ·Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- ·Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- ·Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices
- ·Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- ·Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
- ·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- ·Previous experience in food service or sales is preferred but not mandatory
