- ·Community Reach is a small mental health business in Washington, DC. We currently have 2 group homes in the Southeast Washington, DC area.

- ·Your Expected Duties:
- ·Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals within the mental health field.
- ·Assist with activities of daily living while managing up to 8 residents, while usually only managing 3.
- ·Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- ·Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- ·Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- ·Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- ·Skills:
- ·Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices
- ·Understanding of social work principles to provide emotional support and advocacy
- ·Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to medication schedules
- ·Familiarity with resident rights and the ability to ensure their protection
- ·Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is a plus
- ·Ability to clean and maintain a hygienic environment for clients
- ·Strong caregiving skills, including empathy, patience, and attentiveness
- ·Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects just in case
- ·Effective behavior management techniques to handle challenging situations
- ·WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY.
- ·With training starting IMMEDIATELY after you are hired. You must obtain and pay for: A FBI Background Check, $70. A CPR/First Aid Certificate ($15), Food Handler Certificate ($10). We will assist you with how to obtain all of these if you do not have them already.

- ·Sunday - Friday & 2 Saturdays out of the month
- ·10:00am - 4:30pm
