About the role
Major, Lindsey & Africa’s client is seeking a Litigation Case Manager to join its in-house Legal Department on a temp-to-perm basis.
Overview: This interim role will support subpoena response management, legal holds, preservation requests, and a variety of litigation and legal operations functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and capable of managing a high volume of time-sensitive matters while partnering effectively with internal stakeholders and outside counsel. The position offers a collaborative culture and hybrid flexibility following successful onboarding and performance.
Company: The client is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and technology-driven auction services, serving buyers and sellers across the automotive industry.
Experience: Litigation Case Managers with approximately 3-5+ years of relevant experience supporting litigation matters, subpoena responses, legal investigations, records management, and document production in either a law firm or corporate legal department environment. Experience with matter management and document management platforms is highly preferred.
Location: In-office with hybrid schedule available after successful completion of the initial onboarding period (90-days) and demonstrated performance - Dallas, TX.
- ·Responsibilities Include:
- ·Monitoring and managing subpoenas, preservation requests, legal holds, and other legal correspondence.
- ·Investigating and gathering documents, information, and witness details responsive to legal requests.
- ·Collaborating with in-house counsel and business stakeholders regarding subpoena responses and preservation obligations.
- ·Implementing and tracking legal holds and preservation activities.
- ·Preparing Bates-stamped productions, subpoena responses, business records affidavits, and related documentation.
- ·Maintaining and tracking matters within systems such as Navex EthicsPoint and NetDocuments.
- ·Coordinating with internal departments and serving as a key liaison between the Legal Department and business teams.
- ·Escalating service of process matters and assisting with broader litigation support initiatives.
- ·Qualifications Include:
- ·Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- ·Approximately 3-5 years of litigation paralegal, case management, or related legal support experience.
- ·Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and Adobe Acrobat.
- ·Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- ·Experience with document management and matter management systems, including NetDocuments, Navex EthicsPoint, Legal Tracker, or similar platforms, preferred.
- ·Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain responsive in a high-volume legal environment.
