About the role
The company is a luxury reseller of designer goods seeking a part-time (around 10–15 hours/week), California-based fractional sales leader / RevOps expert to drive growth after a sustained plateau. This role will build the sales engine and go-to-market (GTM) infrastructure, improve conversion of ad-driven demand, and either act as the closer or hire and operationalize a high-performing salesperson. Start in the coming weeks is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement a scalable GTM strategy and sales playbook tailored to high-ticket luxury retail and resale.
• Build and operationalize RevOps infrastructure, including a CRM platform, integration tooling, AI-enabled automation, and touchpoint automation.
• Diagnose and close funnel leakage points; implement tracking, KPIs, and reporting to drive conversion improvements.
• Act as a hands-on closer when needed: respond rapidly to inbound leads, qualify, and close high-ticket buyers.
• Hire, train, and/or place a responsive sales resource; design compensation plans, playbooks, and coaching cadence.
• Establish processes for rapid product-specific responses (photos, videos, condition details) to support premium buyer expectations.
• Create handoffs and workflows between marketing, inventory/merchandising, and sales to improve lead-to-order velocity.
• Iterate on pricing, offers, and messaging to optimize conversion and ROI from paid channels.
Qualifications
• Proven experience scaling sales and conversion in high-ticket retail, resale, or premium e-commerce.
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, integration tooling, and building AI-enabled sales/automation workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to both close deals and build/operationalize a sales team (hiring, comp design, training).
• Strong RevOps mindset: analytics-driven, skilled at diagnosing funnel leaks and implementing process and technology fixes.
• Local to California preferred for on-site responsiveness, product content, and customer support.
• Availability for a part-time engagement (around 10–15 hours/week) starting soon and commitment to deliver measurable revenue impact.
