What We’re Looking For
You should be able to look at an unclear or inefficient business process, understand how it currently operates, identify what needs improvement, and help turn it into a documented and repeatable operating system.
Strong candidates will have previous experience managing operational or client-facing projects from planning through implementation.
You should be:
Highly organized
Comfortable managing multiple deadlines
Strong at written documentation
Able to communicate clearly with clients and team members
Comfortable identifying problems and recommending solutions
Able to work independently without constant supervision
Detail-oriented without unnecessarily overcomplicating projects
Communication Expectations
Clear communication is important to this role.
You will be expected to:
Keep project records and statuses current
Communicate blockers or delays early
Provide concise progress updates
Document important project decisions
Ask questions when scope or requirements are unclear
Escalate pricing, contractual, scope, or major client issues rather than making unauthorized commitments
We value proactive communication and do not expect contractors to wait for meetings to raise important issues.
How We Work
JG Management Group provides the overall client relationship, approved scope, commercial terms, operating standards, and project direction.
The Operations Project Manager helps turn that approved scope into organized execution.
Depending on the project, you may work directly with:
JG Management leadership
Clients and client stakeholders
Operations/process specialists
Systems and automation specialists
Other approved project contractors
You will not be expected to independently negotiate pricing, modify client contracts, approve major expenses, or make commitments outside the approved project scope.
Engagement
This is a part-time independent contractor engagement, initially expected to run approximately 1–3 months and remain under 30 hours per week.
There is potential for ongoing work as JG Management's client volume grows.
