Fractional Imis Database Director / Data Operations Lead (Remote | Part-Time)
We are seeking an experienced iMIS Database Director / Data Operations Lead for a long-term fractional engagement supporting a mission-driven organization. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on iMIS administration and data operations.
Engagement Details

Key Responsibilities
- ·Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for the iMIS platform
- ·Provide strategic guidance on system enhancements, data governance, and platform optimization
- ·Manage hands-on iMIS operations including:
- ·IQA queries, reports, and dashboards
- ·Data imports, cleanup, and mass updates
- ·Duplicate management and data integrity issues
- ·Configuration of panels, workflows, business objects, and security
- ·Maintain executive and operational reporting accuracy
- ·Support staff training and improve adoption of system best practices
- ·Coordinate with vendors, implementation partners, and integrated systems teams
- ·Assist with upgrades, testing, integrations, and ongoing system improvements
Required
Qualifications
- ·510 years of database management experience
- ·35+ years of hands-on iMIS experience
- ·Strong knowledge of:
- ·iMIS EMS
- ·IQA
- ·RiSE / iMIS Web CMS
- ·SQL
- ·Experience with reporting, data governance, and system administration
- ·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Qualifications
- ·Experience with Microsoft Azure and API integrations
- ·Association, nonprofit, or membership organization experience
- ·Experience with Finance enSync or related financial systems
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution within the iMIS environment.
