About the role
• *Fractional Client Strategy Lead (LinkedIn)**
~15 hours a week. Remote. Day rate.
We run LinkedIn for B2B founders and consultants. Content, outreach, engagement. 45-50 active clients.
The reporting is already automated. Every client's numbers land each month with a first-pass read of what changed and why.
I'm not hiring someone to produce that.
I'm hiring someone to argue with it. • *What you'd actually do**
Go through the monthly reads and decide which ones are right.
Spot the thing a per-client report can't see. Four clients in the same sector all dropping acceptance in the same fortnight is one problem, not four.
Make the call on what changes. Audience, messaging, theme, or nothing, because one bad month is one bad month.
Take the client calls that need a person.
You won't be writing posts or sending messages. There's a team for that. You're deciding what they do, and answering for it. • *The first two months**
You'll need to learn 50 businesses before you can usefully disagree with anything.
First month is closer to 30 hours and paid as such. Tapering to 15 by month three.
I'd rather pay for that properly than have you bluffing on a client call in week two. • *Who this is for**
Someone who's run enough campaigns to know when a clean-looking explanation is the wrong one.
Someone who can sit in front of a client without me in the room.
You're probably freelance or running something small already. This is fixed hours alongside that, not a job. • *Who it isn't for**
If you've managed LinkedIn but never had to explain a bad month to the person paying for it, this will be uncomfortable.
If the answer to a drop is "post more", we'll both find out quickly. • *How to apply**
No CV.
I'll send you one real client month. The numbers, and our automated read of them.
Tell me in under 300 words what that read gets wrong.
