About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Medical Officer to provide essential senior physician executive leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing medical staff accountability, clinical governance, and ensuring consistent expectations within a complex physician enterprise. This role involves close collaboration with nursing and medical staff leaders to rebuild partnerships, improve communication, and establish a unified approach to patient care. The Interim CMO will also provide hands-on clinical and executive oversight of quality and patient safety, lead in clinical transformation, and build strong relationships with both employed and independent physicians. Applicants for the Interim Chief Medical Officer position at the company must hold an MD or DO degree and be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. The role requires a leader who can confidently address performance, behavioral, and clinical concerns, and who is adept at leading organizational stabilization and clinical transformation.
