About us - Atlas Grey (shopatlasgrey.com) is a Florida-based minimalist luxury baby and toddler apparel brand for millennial parents who care about quality, comfort, and a neutral aesthetic. We're at an inflection point: the product is strong, the brand identity is dialed in, but our growth engine needs a senior operator to steer it.
The role - We're hiring a fractional CMO / Head of Marketing to own strategy, manage our existing execution partners (media buyer and graphic designer), and rebuild our growth engine. This is a hands-on strategic role, not a monthly check-in. You'll set the direction, brief the team, hold them accountable, and report directly to the founder.
What you'll own - Full marketing P&L and channel mix across paid social, email, organic, and PR
Weekly oversight of our media buyer (can discuss this further), including creative brief direction and performance review
Email and SMS strategy in Klaviyo: campaign calendar, flow audits, segmentation, deliverability
Seasonal launch planning (warm weather push, Halloween, Christmas, and ongoing product drops)
Landing page and homepage briefs for our designer
Lux Club subscription launch and retention strategy
Monthly reporting against ROAS, CAC, LTV, and email revenue attribution
Required experience
5+ years in DTC ecommerce marketing, with 2+ years at a Director or CMO level
Direct experience scaling a Shopify apparel or lifestyle brand in the $1M to $10M revenue range
Deep Meta paid social fluency (you can read an ad account like a native and diagnose a learning phase reset)
Strong Klaviyo experience: flows, segmentation, deliverability
Comfort managing creative output and giving specific, constructive feedback to designers and UGC creators
Clear, direct communicator who works well with a founder running multiple ventures
Nice to have
Experience with baby, kids, or parenting brands
Background in premium or luxury positioning
UGC and creator program management experience
Subscription or membership launch experience
Logistics
10 to 15 hours per week to start, with room to grow
3-month initial engagement with option to extend long-term
Weekly standup plus async communication (Slack and Loom)
Must overlap with US Eastern Time
