Our client, a private equity-backed business services roll-up, is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer. This 3-6-month engagement requires stabilizing operations, integrating recent acquisitions, and being a steady pair of hands during a time of transition.

Key Responsibilities • Systems & Technology Modernization • Evaluate the current finance tech stack, ERP, and reporting tools across all acquired entities. • Design and execute a streamlined roadmap to consolidate disparate accounting systems into a single, scalable ERP. • Automate data flows between operational platforms, billing systems, and the general ledger. • Integration & Operations • Standardize financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and accounting workflows for newly acquired businesses. • Provide a steady, calm presence to guide the finance team through change management and operational transitions. • Optimize cash flow visibility, working capital, and treasury management across the consolidated group. • Stakeholder & Board Management • Partner closely with the private equity sponsor, CEO, and operational leaders. • Deliver accurate, timely monthly financial packages and variance analyses. • Prepare the financial infrastructure for a future permanent CFO handoff.
Ideal Qualifications • Experience: Previous success as a seated CFO or Interim CFO in PE-backed business services organization. • Domain Knowledge: Deep expertise in multi-unit or roll-up business services models. • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience leading data migrations, and financial systems integration and tech stack evaluation. • Leadership: Strong communication skills with a steady, pragmatic approach to organizational change.
