About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in finance and a focus on operational and financial framework development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial compliance, reporting, and operational strategies, as well as supporting investment initiatives and fostering sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include the development and implementation of financial processes, internal controls, and infrastructure, maintaining relationships with banking and brokerage partners, and ensuring alignment of operational strategies with fund objectives. The role also involves managing treasury functions, leading the quarterly valuation process for private investments, and supervising fund documentation and structuring. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in financial leadership, with at least 4 years in an investment fund managing public equities. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees or certifications preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fund management, compliance, and operational strategies for equity investment businesses, as well as a deep understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and drive organizational change. Experience in a Big-4 accounting firm and expertise in managing complex financial operations are also highly valued.
