About the Role The Company is in search of an Interim CFO to provide strategic financial leadership and support during critical financial transitions, growth phases, and strategic transformations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing financial strategies that optimize key metrics in a subscription-based SaaS model, working closely with private equity sponsors and board members, and overseeing operational finance to enhance financial efficiency. This role demands a hands-on, execution-driven finance leader with a strong background in SaaS revenue models, ARR optimization, and subscription billing, as well as experience in M&A, divestitures, and capital markets.
The Interim CFO will also be involved in leading ERP and system implementations, mentoring internal finance teams, and driving financial results in partnership with executive teams and investors. The ideal candidate for the Interim CFO position at the company will have over 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a preference for those who have previously served as a CFO in a private equity-backed SaaS environment. A CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred but not required.
The role requires a professional with a proven track record of working with private equity firms, navigating high-growth or distressed environments, and implementing best-in-class financial reporting and KPI tracking tailored to SaaS business models. The Interim CFO will also be expected to lead turnaround and restructuring initiatives, develop financial stabilization strategies, and ensure strong financial controls and strategic alignment with PE investors.
