About the role
We are partnering with a private equity-backed manufacturing company in the Minneapolis area to identify a Fractional Chief Financial Officer. This executive will work directly with the client organization's leadership team and ownership group, providing strategic financial guidance while helping to strengthen financial reporting, forecasting, and operational performance. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance leader who has successfully supported manufacturing businesses and is highly proficient in NetSuite.
Position Overview The Fractional CFO will serve as a strategic financial partner to company leadership, helping drive informed decision-making through financial planning, reporting, analysis, and process improvement. The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance high-level strategy with day-to-day financial oversight.

- ·Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, planning, and business performance.
- ·Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- ·Develop and improve KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- ·Support lender, investor, board, and ownership reporting as needed.
- ·Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- ·Evaluate and strengthen financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
- ·Support growth initiatives, strategic projects, and operational decision-making.
- ·Provide leadership and guidance to internal accounting and finance personnel.
- ·Qualifications
- ·Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred
- ·Significant experience in CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, or similar senior financial leadership roles.
- ·Prior manufacturing experience
- ·Experience working with private equity-backed companies strongly preferred.
- ·Required: Strong NetSuite expertise, including financial reporting, system optimization, and leveraging NetSuite for business insights and decision-making.
- ·Demonstrated success in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- ·Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
- ·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
