About the role
CSP is partnering with a growing, employee-owned consulting and financial services firm to find an experienced CFO Advisor for its Accounting Solutions practice. In this role you’ll serve as a fractional CFO and strategic advisor to middle-market companies, mainly in manufacturing and construction. You’ll work directly with owners and executive teams to sharpen financial strategy, improve forecasting, cash flow and KPI reporting, strengthen controls, and drive finance transformation. Your first engagement will be with a manufacturing client in the Frederick, MD area, where you’ll stabilize reporting and planning and become a trusted advisor to leadership.
The ideal candidate has held a CFO or Divisional CFO role and has manufacturing or construction (ideally with govcon) experience at companies of roughly $50M to $500M in revenue. You should bring strong executive presence and a track record of improving financial performance. A CPA is strongly preferred, and public accounting or consulting experience is a plus. This role is built for seasoned finance leaders who have been CFO's.
