Looking for a dynamic business-oriented Fractional CFO to help leader our financial coaching clients. MUST have experience running your own business or have managed a business day-to-day.
Context About The
Position
We run a Financial Coaching company where we train small business owners (typically doing between $500k - $20M/year in revenue) on how to understand their finances. Think of it as a precursor program to working with a Fractional CFO. We do this over a 12 week training Academy that prepares owners to understand the details of profit margins, cashflow management, and projections.
We also take clients on directly as Fractional CFO clients. You will initially take our clients through our CEO Finance Academy 12 Week program before ascending them into Fractional CFO work. We have worked with over 350 clients in the past 4.5 years and currently have 2 other full-time Fractional CFOs on staff.
Who We're Looking For To Fill This Role You are ideally a former business owner yourself and want to be a part of a growing team where you don't have to spend time doing business development tasks and worry about running the company. You have experience working with more than 3 Fractional CFO clients in the past and have gotten great results for them. The ideal fit is someone who can COACH first and do the financial technical work second.
Most of our clients stay with us for 2+ years and we believe it's because we care about the person more than how nice the financials look You are an intrapreneur and do not need to be motivated to want to provide world class service for clients. You're empathetic and care for others and have a high emotional intelligence that allows you to understand the needs of client's when on calls with them.
Other Details About The Position The role is fully remote with likelihood of 1-2 in-person company meetings per year On track earnings for the role is $140,000-$180,000/year You do NOT have to do any prospecting, networking, or take sales calls Access to high speed internet and willingness to use Zoom is required 3x per week 30-60 minute meeting with team leadership to review current client needs Healthcare Benefits available if desired 401k Match can be discussed but not guaranteed at the moment Must be US Based (potentially Canada) Ultimate Job Path Potential This position would ramp up from part-time to full-time over a period of 3 months as we fill your client roster and you complete our internal training. You will be provided a base salary during the ramp up period.
